Civic Society
Well Heads

To highlight the Spa heritage of Harrogate, long standing Civic Society member (and former Tourism Officer of HBC), Mike Hine conceived the idea of cleaning the Well Heads in Valley Gardens and Crescent Gardens and painting them blue - with small descriptive plaques.

Mike who devoted a lifetime to "all things Harrogate", sadly passed away in December 2019.

The map shows the locations of the Well Heads. Below are images and details of them.
